If you’re planning to attend the Democratic National Convention in August, you’ll also have a place to get away from the craziness for some yoga, meditation, music, etc. Meditate08 is a 6-day meditation retreat that will coincide with the convention to offer delegates, candidates, tourists and locals the chance to step away from the convention to participate in “what may be the first multi-denominational meditation retreat in US political history.” At present, there are 40 teachers participating and the event is free for anyone interested in attending…check it out: www.meditate08.org.
